Outdoor tradition or dangerous, polluting, wasteful relic of the past?

We talked about it, but didn't really decide. Marshmallows were no longer an option or a motivator to build a campfire, so would we have one or not? We already had the wood. Any future campfire could very well be our last. They were already banned in states on the west coast.

It is such a shame that campfires are banned partly due to the weather but also due to irresponsible humans. A delightful page that reminds me of all the good times camping.

I think I like you lift of your page better! What a people to do to keep the insects away without the smoke from a camp fire - though I know the environment does not need the campfire it is sad to see them go! just love the dark background and the placement of the photos! gorgeous page!

Interesting thoughts. Yes, here on the west coast campfires make us cringe. We lost much of the Columbia Gorge last year (although it was not a campfire, but illegal fireworks that caused it). Love the dark pages and glowing photos!
