In the west, this oriole is common in summer in open woodland along streams, particularly among cottonwoods.

I love how you look forward to my trip to the nail salon because it's so close to the nature reserve.

The MM Branch is the perfect complement to this stunning sketch, DK! I remember receiving a plastic model kit of an Oriole as a child...I put it together and painted it...thanks for awakening the memory! Would love to see one in person!

love the sketch of the oriole, I have never seen one in NJ they are extremely rare in the east but did see lots out west - love the MM branch on the left! fab lift!

Such a sweet interpretation of my page design. Really love your sky and the gentler colouring. So this one is back from Central America? Ours move north to the tropics for the winter if they're in a colder zone but here where I am they don't bother. Don't you love how they build their scrappy nests right at the end of a branch as if wanting the best view from the balcony.
