The bronzed grackle race of the common grackle, breeding west of the Appalachians and in New England, has the characteristic bronzy back.

The grackle is a little bit interesting when the light catches it just so. Otherwise, It's our all-time least favorite bird.

The grackle looks quite beautiful on your page but, Oh My, the noise!
Like the observations and notes behind the bird and the postage stamp framing. The paper behind the bird sets him off so nicely.
