This was a good way to use some blurry photos to document the meeting of my new granddog Cher

Journaling:
Theyve been talking about getting a dog for a long time. After dogsitting Nigel at Christmas time, they were even more sure. A few weeks ago they almost went to adopt Olaf, but Olaf was adopted before they could get there, so it wasnt meant to be. But then they found Cher at the Napa shelter.
Cher is about 1 year old, a basset hound mix with lab or border collie, and is quite a shy little girl, uncertain whats going on in her life. She was found on the street in Napa with her sister Sonny.
After a little less than a week with them, I got the opportunity to meet Cher. We tried to let her come to me, with the help of treats and a hotdog, She finally did come, but was most comfortable on her perch on the couch. I brought her training treats, a cuddle toy, a play toy and some rawhide bones. She loved the rawhide bone, devouring it in a pretty short time, so I guess she has strong teeth. The vet has declared her overall healthy, so she just needs time to adjust to her new family.
Meanwhile, I wanted a selfie with this sweet little girl, who deserves love and a happy home.
