Meditation teaches one to clear the mind, letting go of thoughts, past and future story lines, regrets from the past, worries of the future. All you have is the present moment. This is not easy. A while ago I created the mental image of balloons, carrying off the thoughts, worries, internal dialogues that all create mental chatter and prevent the experience of presence. In these troubled times, it is more than ever necessary to LET IT GO.
