Do they speak English here?

Ive always wanted to try and scrap a question my son asked me many years ago.
I dont have any photos, but weve laughed about it over the years.
When the AnnaChallenge Chatter came up, I thought this would be a good chance to finally get it down on paper.
(The Nevada sign and photo are from the internet)

Heres the story: When our son was five years old, we took a road trip to Nevada,
his first experience crossing California State Line.
As we crossed the border, I pointed out the Welcome to Nevada sign.
He whispered very quietly to me...

Process:
Over a background paper from AP Chatter, I placed a 6x6 ArtsyKardz Chatter .psd version.
I clipped the Kardz background paper and the photo to the Kardz foto mask.
I slightly blurred the photo to compensate for the poor resolution of the internet copy.
I used most of the Kardz layers over the photo, although I did turn off visibility
for a few layers that didnt work with the photo.
I extracted the Nevada sign and placed it over the photo with a sepia filter.
To add to the feel of the road trip, I added the road/car brush from AP GlobeTrotter,
balanced with a transfer from AP Chatter on the left side of the page.
I chose a photo of my son at the same age, applied a sepia filter,
and placed it in the chat bubble from ChatterSampler No.1.
I united the elements with the two JazzedUp LoopDaLoop No.2.
