Oh this brings back something I have not thought about for many years. When I was a little girl, my grandmother had a complete kitchen garden, including many tomatoes. And she could spy these hornworms, and she'd pick them off and crush them with her shoe. I would look where she pointed them out and couldn't see them. I didn't know they developed into the sphinx moth, which is the subject of an Inspector Montalbano story I happen to be reading. We're fighting with an opossum for our tomatoes

Oh my word.... don't know if I'm terrified or memorised by this caterpillar! It's just one of those things! The brush work and colors made for a wonderful layout!
