Anna Lift 7/6/12

A fabulous candid portrait surrounded by vintage/aged charmreally enjoyed lifting Muriel's (salamandre) engaging page!

Must start by telling you, I ADORE Anna's **NEW** FotoBlendz Overlays No.3 http://www.oscraps.com/shop/product.php?productid=30912
Like the earlier versions, these artsy masks span the length/width of the page and when you just add photos, pure magic happensno blending needed!

I filled the top half of the FotoBlendz with a candid, 100 year-old photo of my maternal grandmother (right) and her youngest sister on the front porch of their northern Missouri farm house. Then, I needed to fill the bottom portionI decided to flip/rotate the photo vertically and place it in the empty portion of the mask. Doesn't it kind of look like an old, damaged film negative--not unlike our family stories if we don't pass them on to future generations with as much clarity as possible.
