This is my 11th year of "documenting December", this year unaided by projects or prompts, which makes it harder, but there has been something to capture every day for "December Days".
Month Review Template Album has been great for this project, with a large blending mask (duplicated for greater coverage of my large photo) and plenty of frames. I just delete the calendars and month labels.
The challenge on this page was the background, since I started with plain white.
I settled primarily on ArtPlay Ephemeral, but then added a surprise paper from the Oscraps Jingle collab, adding more turquoise depth.
The winter greens cluster, star, and that great red splatter, are also from Oscraps Jingle.
Note the red visual triangle, and balance of frames on left to large photo + frame on the right.
I also like how the shape of the aloe flower mimics the shape of the Christmas tee,
