AnnaLift Challenge 10. 24.25 - 11.07.25

process: I used ArtPlayPaletteSnapshot_ArtsyPaper1 as my base layer, then placed ArtPlayPaletteOldWorld_ArtsyPaper4 over that with decreased opacity.I clipped a text paper from ArtPlayPatriarch to a FotoBlendzOverlay11_3.UrbanThreadzFramed6_1 came next. I then placed the train image(my granfather was a train builder),an image of their home city downtown, and an extracted image of my grandparents( on the left and a church friend on the right). For the extracted image,I reduced the opacity to blend, for the train image,I used a mask from the UrbanThreadzFramed6_1 and for the cityscape,I used an inverted mask.Parts of MultiMediaPatriarch1_1 and 1_2 made up the other blended framing plus threadz and clips.I placed a transfer from ArtPlayPaletteSnapshot and a frame from from MultiMediaPatriarch1_1 over the city scape image.I finished with MelancholyWAM1,some other dimensionals, goldpaint, brushes,LW,Ampersand, and an extracted leaf image.

If I were a teacher, I would show this page to my pupils and ask them to write a story, because on the one hand it seems mundane (a journey), but on the other hand it could also conceal a painful farewell or a joyful arrival, or perhaps an ambivalent family relationship, or...
Either way: s t u n n i n g page in every detail.

What a lovely observation and description!

All of this is just so intriguing, and how you've layered and used blend modes to achieve this stunning composition and story! The text paper clipped is just perfect. Love all the splatters, and the linear design!
