An opportunity to use lots of new Urban Stitchez and Urban Threadz, to share the story of a couple of projects completed for Bowie.
I chose the ArtPlay Felicitations Collection for the colors. Started with the large photo of the full blanket on the left. I tried blending it, but I wanted to show as much as possible, so chose a Corner Slit Frame instead. Used Frames from the Felicitations ALT for details.
It was a challenge to figure out what to do with all the book page photos on the right. Settled for some simple FotoInspired masks with stitches around them.
I colored the Stitchez and Threadz, adding Bevel, Drop Shadow, Outer Glow, and in some cases duplicating to get more impact.
Didn't use any elements (hmmm, I may go back and add some buttons) but added a Bow to cover Bowie's cut off head (from FI 3J, recolored), and a beaded thread on which I substituted letters to spell "crochet".
