process: I began with a solid paper as my base.Next I layered some layers from the fb,topping that with an artsy paper.I then placed layers of mm and an image clipped to the fb.I used a photo action on the image.Another image was partially extracted and placed on the right side.Next came an oval frame,elements from the Bonus,elements from the app,mm and my text.tfl

Journaling Reads:
In the early 1990”s,a Dr. that I worked
with offered his villa in Jamaica,to a group
of nurses in the ER.where we all worked
together for years as friends. We began what
would become one of the most rewarding
years of our lives. We traveled to the island
with wonder and excitement and returned
with some of the most special memories of
our lives. We stayed at a gated community
on the northern coast. When we first arrived,
a driver met us at the airport and he became
one of our Jamaican friends.

We leaned on him to embrace
his culture and never regretted it.
We took him on his first ever raft
trip down the Martha Brae,he brought
us his family and we made lasting friends.
Some of the cooks that helped us at the
villa,made sure that we knew how to make
some of their beloved dishes,like ackee,johnny-
cakes,pumpkin soup and fried plantains. We
brought them fabric that they were unable

to find,so that they could make skirts.
The fisherman taught us how to fish
their way,and I even caught an eel on
one of our trips to the coral reef.The life
guard taught us to wind-sail and gave us gifts
of shells and starfish. We were never without
a smile,and a helping hand. Over the years,their
lives and circumstances have changed as have
ours. We continue to make the trip to see
our friends....Soon Come
