In our first Project 2022 session, Anna talked a lot about stories and connections. I tend to fall off the story wagon sometimes, so I am trying to get back on. Yes, this is a page about the tree work we had done on our property, but the story is more about perspective, learning, and admitting I was wrong about the yew :)

Featuring the ArtPlay Mini-Palette Serein which is free with Project 2022.

This is page 2 from Project Template Album 8, with all but one of the frames removed. On the right I used Frames from the Mini-Palette, with a Serein Transfer and adding a Tree brush. I colored this brush by clipping a photo to it, then adding some colors via brushes.
I duplicated the Glows in the MM Branches to spread some gold around the page.
Wow, I like your artistry! Your balance of the colors from one page to the other is superb.
Stunning page and beautiful golden foliage. Great journaling about the misunderstood Yew tree.
Nice to have the tree gone so you don't have to worry about the berries and you get more sun. It's hard to let go of mature trees (among other things). We have a poplar that someone topped many years ago, a Dawn Redwood, and a mature lemon tree all in a very tiny space. I know it would be best to let the poplar go because of its location but still it stands. Soon, though. Thanks for the reminder that it's time to let it go.
