I just had the most magical morning I've had in years, and plan to post this page everywhere I can just so I can share it. It brings tears to my eyes even as I post. Thank you for indulging this grandma. :')

Journaling: Dave and I were hanging out with Clara as usual on a Monday morning. An email came from our dear sister-in-law, with a link to a video of a man playing Amazing Grace on an unusual flute-like instrument. There were beautiful mountain scenes surrounding him. We were all enraptured by the music and pictures. Part way through, Clara asked to get up in my lap. She never took her eyes off the video, and when it was over she said, Again? So I played it again, and before I knew it, she had fallen asleep in my arms. Such a rare treat. As children approach two years old, its not something that happens very often. As she lay asleep in my arms, I couldnt help thinking that it might be the last time in my life that a grandchild falls asleep in my arms.
