Before we go any further, I just want to set the record straight ... this is a photo of my friend Sam. She's not really alone, neither is she actually crying ... but she is looking somewhat lonesome and I thought it would be fun to manipulate the image slightly to fit the requirements of the challenge. IRL Sam has beautiful blue eyes but for this challenge I altered them slightly to add a hint of lilac.
