The title of this fabulous kit and the beautiful word art that accompanied it, seemed perfect for Tristan, All Things Grow With Love. Tristan was born two months premature, even considering that Stephanie spent a week in the hospital before his birth, with a million frightening monitors attached to her, watching his every move, his heartbeat..all his vital signs and exactly where he was located. Though we tried very hard not to, we all watched the monitors constantly and spent a week filled with anxiety. She was given steroid shots in an attempt to make his little lungs grow and develop a little further before birth. Every day she kept him in her womb was a triumph, but my poor little girl was barely allowed to move. He was born naturally a week after she entered the hospital and spent two weeks in an incubator in the NIC unit. (I cant say enough about the staff there! They were fabulous and seemed to create miracles!) He was so tiny and lay inside the incubator with any number of wires and monitors attached to his tiny body. When Steph and Robert were finally allowed to take him home, the days and nights for many, many months were still filled with a tinge of fear. BUT, here he is, three years old, healthy as a little horse, and hes completely caught up with all the other children his age both physically and mentally and I attribute this to all the love that was literally poured on him and Gods ever presence. (This photo was taken a few months ago at Disneyland. We had a blast! He loved that t-shirt I bought him and wouldnt take it off, even sleeping in it at the hotel! Oh wellwhat are vacations for anywhooo!) So this story has a magically happy ending and all things do grow with love!
