ADSR #9 ~ OUCH!

The journaling says it all....
I was walking into a local chain store to pick up a snack for Joshuas soccer team. As I entered the store through the double doors, I noticed a girl whom I went to school with. She was a few years behind me in school. I had just started to smile and say hello as she was checking out at the register....when it happened. Both my feet went out from underneath me completly. It had been a drizzly rainy day and the bottoms of my shoes were slick. Not to mention that there was not a safety mat in the front of the door I had entered. I landed flat on the floor managing to put both my knees underneath me. I was so embarrssed. I tried to gain my dignity and quickly got up and headed to the snack aisle. The cashier at the register asked me if I was alright.as I checked out my things. Imagine my face as they ran out to the car because I had left too quickly and forgotten my reciept. I didnt want to go back through the doorway where I had just fallen. When I told her that someone should put a mat on the other door side...she told me that was the Exit? doorway. Its just my luck that I would fall so ungracefully? in a public place with someone I hadnt seen in years watching. Luckily, nothing was hurt badly......just my PRIDE!!!!

Ouch is a great title. Awesome page Sondie. Love that peeled and revealed with the papers.

Ouch is right ... :(
I have done similar things too this and basically wished that I could die immediately.
Beautiful job of the challenge though.

Oh dear... poor you! But the journaling is great and sorry, but you really made me giggle ;)
