Adrift

This is a rogue lift of Profolly's beautiful composition Noted, which you may see here https://ozone.oscraps.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=371997&title=noted&cat=1351 . When I commented on her layout, I referred to a quote, which I then incorporated into my own page. Like Profolly's work, mine also commemorates and honors the recent tragedies in the UK. My lift also expresses my shame at my country's President's Tweetstorm of attacks on London's Muslim Mayor.

Notes in Photoshop 14
I began by creating a landscape by layering up the Artsy Papers on various blending modes and then dragging in the Artsy Transfers over, in between, and under them. I started stamping on the boats on separate layers, changing the colors as I went to see what developed, and then clipping the windbreaker element from the Coastline Artplay Palette to the red boat to make the stripes. I added the quote next. I liked the motion of the Artstroke Frames even though I didn't really want to frame anything, so I randomly dropped three of them into the composition to suggest wind. I finished up with the WordArt and compasses.
Wow! So cool page! Love it!

This is brilliant. The violence you have created in the sea portrays what is happening in our world. The tossed ship echoes your quote so well. A truly fabulous work of art, so deserving of the "O". Thanks, too, for your detailed instructions.

An amazing statement and art! Congratulations on the Standing O!
