gingerbread cookies
Ingredients
25 gr. self-raising flour
2 teaspoons gingerbread spices
3 to 4 tablespoons of milk
75 gr. Brown sugar
150 gr. butter in cubes
a pinch of salt
Description
- Heat the oven to 170 degrees. Stir the flour, brown sugar, gingerbread spices and a pinch of salt together in a bowl. Add the cold butter and the milk and knead into a firm ball. Do not knead too long, because the dough should not get too hot.
- Cover a baking tray with a piece of baking paper. Make balls of the dough and place them on the baking tray.
- Put the gingerbread cookies in the oven for about 25 minutes. When they come out of the oven they will still feel a bit soft but when they have cooled down they will become crispy.
