Notes for Photoshop Elements 14
I didn't have any single travel photo that fit this Lift, so instead I made a monolith of photos and drew inspiration from the greenish, bronze-y tones of the Lift design as well as its book look. To achieve the tones, I used a phone app (Distressed Fx) on all but one of the photos before importing them into the template. I used only a few things from the templatethe main thing was the frame cluster, which I rotated to fit my photos. Lifting the layered book vibe of the original design, I added the MultiMedia Documents and wrote the story of the snails and the starfish. The background of this layout, which is composed of two papers from the Burned Paperie with other papers clipped to them using different blending modes, came next. I liked the stitching on the Lift piece, so added some to my design, as well as a scattering of butterflies from the MultiMedia Documents.
