Pretty much what my parents had to do as well, I was born in 1952 and my parent emigrated from Europe to Australia in 1951 with my older sister and brother. I was here and younger brother as well. We didn't have a whole lot growing up but it certainly made us appreciate the better things in life later on. Wonderful photo of your Mum holding you and just love how you have scrapped it here, beautiful layout and just love that title work with the little owl!
