We are up visiting my Dad in the home for the first, and probably the last time. He is in the Hospice care wing, and they've said that in a month he will change and communication will be more difficult. We prayed for a "good day" of lucidity and connection. We got it. I heard the rarely spoken words "I love you"- for the last time and will never forget them. I'm grateful to Abba Heavenly father for this gift. Dad was given less than 6 months and we made the 2 day drive to be with him for a few days.
