#5 C is for Cancer

C is for Cancer. I was diagnosed with a rare leukemia in September. Only 5000 in the US have it. So I've been researching it. The cells in my art are actual T-cell large granular leukocytes. My oncologist's assistant gave me this photo from an article on my cancer from the National Institute of Health.

Use Anna Aspnes' APP Uncanny paper and transfers.

Thanks for looking.

Wow, I love the dark appearance of your page, it looks threatening and scary which makes sense. I hope you are doing ok!! Hugs and prayers for you. Your page is great!!

Thank you for your kind words. And for the hugs and prayers. I’m doing the best I can, I make sure to enjoy a bit of chocolate every day. I’m glad you understood the message behind my art too. What’s that old saying? You must have some darkness before the light?

I agree with Anke. As soon as I saw your page I thought of a journey through the darkness looking for the dawn. I pray for your recovery and hope that scrapbooking your journey will bring strength and healing. I wouldn't ordinarily give a second Standing O on the same day, but I must. It takes great courage to share your soul!

I am so appreciative of your caring and kind words. Creating art does help me understand my current struggles. It truly helps focus the mind and relieve some tension. Again, a very sincere thank you.
