2019May20 Paurotis Lake

The next stop was Paurotis Lake - without my binoculars it made it hard to see across the lake but on this side of the lake was black and turkey vultures together which really surprised me - quick stop

I have only seen one black vulture I think there head looks like a knights head gear. Wonderful captures.

great photos! I've never seen a black vulture...turkey vultures we used to see all the time in San Jose.

Neat stuff! The black vulture is new to me too and very interesting.

Wonderful photos! When we went to Flamingo National Park, we were given tarps to cover our cars with. I thought it was in case of rain (which was threatening). But we soon found out it was because the black vultures ate the rubber on the windshield wipers and around the windows! Beautiful colors!
