Nancy we have lots of Blue Herons here and I always think that when they fly by they look pre-historic. Great page and what wonderful photos of these amazing birds!

The Great Blue is my favorite. I've heard it's good luck to see one. Luckily, we have one who hangs out at our pond. I never get tired of seeing him. Sorry you are through with the wetlands pages--it has been a treat!
