March 21 was the first day we really started to explore the city. We had a not so great map and some vague instructions from our landlord. We ended up taking the Star 2 tram and got off close to whereI thought we could get a ciocolatte. However, I didnt see the place and Dick wasnt interested.So walk we did into the center.

Once we walked to the Piazza Castello, Dick was content as he saw where the Opera House was.. We walked round the Piazza and saw the requisite group of students, being students.

Dick was also fascinated by the people balancing each other but I found it kind of weird. I think the costumes were creepy and I imagined horrors of the Middle Ages. Finally Dick decided to tour the Castello and I decided to go back to the apartment and took a tram from the Castello area. I did figure out how to buy tickets and get on the line I wanted.
