I was lucky enough to be able to see and eat at the restaurant La Couronne in the city of Rouen. This is where Julia Child had her first French meal and went on to learn French cooking and do a TV show and many cookbooks. It was a great meal and even though we speak very little French they were very nice to us. We had a real adventure to get there as we were caught in a thunderstorm but we waited it out and made it!
