My word for 2013 is Simplify.

General process notes for my 2013 P52 pages

Left Side Title Pages:
I extracted the number from 52 Wks NumberSet, on Overlay Mode, then duplicated at 50%
with a Glow beneath the number layer and a loop above the layer.
I created the 2013 Project 52 WordArt in a separate file using ArtsyKardz, 2013 WordART and 52 Wks NumberSet.
The Loop unites the image and draws your eye to the companion page on the right.

Right Side:
In keeping with the albums color palette, I used one of two background papers (AP Hummingbird or AP Embrace Life) on various pages.
To maintain the transparency and light of the poppies on this page, I used a brush from ArtsyPaint No.3 for the photo mask.
I took photos of our poppies, but wasnt happy with any of them, so I went searching at stock.xchng, a free stock photo site.
Clip photo to ArtsyPaint No.3 mask. Set photo to Normal blend. Duplicate photo and use Paint Daub filter to achieve painted look.
Set to Multiply blend and clip to mask.
Duplicate Paint Daub layer and set to Normal 50%, clip to mask.
Place transfer from AP Enamored over photo layers. Set to Pin Light blend and clip to mask.
Place transfer from AP Simplicity under photo layers to add to painted look.
Add brush strokes from Different Strokes No.8 over poppy layers to mimic flower stems.
Place loop under photo layers and place word transfer to right of page for balance.
Add glows to enhance color and adjust blending modes and opacity levels as desired.
