Week 11: Horse on high ground

My word for 2013 is Simplify.
The left side is the title page.
The right is a photo from the week that inspired me to enjoy simple pleasures.

Photo: On a long drive down Highway 101, I found myself gazing out the window, watching the hillsides roll by,
when I spotted a lone horse, high up on the hill, peacefully grazing on grass.
I was captivated by this simple act and reminded to appreciate the simple things I take for granted each day.

General process notes for my 2013 P52 pages

Left Side Title Pages:
I extracted the number from 52 Wks NumberSet, on Overlay Mode, then duplicated at 50%
with a Glow beneath the number layer and a loop above the layer.
I created the 2013 Project 52 WordArt in a separate file using ArtsyKardz, 2013 WordART and 52 Wks NumberSet.
The Loop unites the image and draws your eye to the companion page on the right.

Right Side:
To maintain the albums color palette, I used one of two background papers (AP Hummingbird or AP Embrace Life) on various pages.
I placed masks from FotoInspired Template Packs or FotoInspired Masks, depending on the size and shape of the photo.
Glows were added to enhance color and various elements were included on individual pages for variety.
Adjust blending modes and opacity levels as desired.
