After a post-lunch nap - isnt vacation wonderful! - we decided to go south and back up the Western side of the Lake. We had done some exploring on this side on our previous trip but the weather did not co-operate. It was hazy, humid and muggy. The walk was not so much fun. The Town of Pella is more modern, almost suburban. I did use Goggle on my phone to find a small market where I bought zucchini, the vegetable currently in season, as well as the lemon I wanted. Mission accomplished!
When we finally got down to the lakeshore, it seemed a bit too late for a gelato - yes, we actually passed on one! tho I could have sampled the lavender one. We decided not to go north around the lake, and took the quicker southern route avoiding the Omegna traffic.
Yes, I made dinner!
