In case you're interested in the journaling (long and boring...LOL), here it is:
Spring and summer always bring baseball to our house. Colby was released by his surgeon to play baseball and
played for the high school but chose not to play Babe Ruth. Logan played Babe Ruth on Craigs team and made it to the All Star team. All Stars were in LaGrande this year! Lindsey spent the majority of the summer in
New York City on a sports writing internship. She was only home for 9 days after the internship before she
left for Boise State! The colleges in Idaho start (and end) a month before the colleges in Oregon, so we
packed her up and moved her to the dorm in the middle of August. The hunting season was not good to us
this year. Colby got a small buck, and Craig got an even smaller buck (he could pick it up with one hand).
September found both of the boys in high school (yikes!). Im not sure I like that. Colby drives Logan to
school in his Toyota. October brought Halloween, and it seems bizarre to not have to take anybody trick-or-
treating. I do miss that. Lindsey dressed up as a Hooters waitress. The boys did NOT like that at all! They did not want her parading around in Boise dressed in that skimpy little outfit! Protective younger brothers...how cute is that? Colby dressed up like a caveman, and Logan dressed as a baseball player. Colby also made Homecoming court. Fall Ball was in November. Fall Ball is actually a fall formal where the girls ask the guys. Logan had a dilemma because he had 3 girls ask him to the dance! He went with xxxxx, but the picture below is xxxxx. Colby and Amanda went together, of course. Logan turned 15 on December 15
and successfully passed his drivers permit test! Both of the boys were asked to participate in the Miss LHS
Pageant, complete with evening gown, swimsuit, and talent competitions! It is a fundraiser for the LHS FBLA
chapter. What an entertaining evening! Colby WON the coveted title of Miss LHS 2008! We are SO proud
