Halloween coming was a bright light. Some fun dressing up to pass out candy and a new idea for money-making about that time. Writing promotional blog posts. I love writing promotional stuff! The pay wasnt great, but the equivalent of selling a few good apples in that last depression time, just I was selling ON an Apple!

November, election time... In that last depression came FDR and the New Deal. There were new ideas, hope. Now we have Barack Obama, change, and again hope. Hes our presidential Jackie Robinson. May he produce as well as a rookie as Jackie did. I just pray that we have grown enough to acknowledge history and let it become history so we can continue to repair our country!
2008 had so many points of wanting to be more, me wishing it could be. December was the beginning of the rebirth for me! I was welcomed into a new family, a global family, selling my Digitalegacies Designs scrapbook supplies. I get to promote and work to help a new shop and myself as a designer grow. I feel overwhelmed at times, but empowered. Its a good base to work on for the resuming job hunt in 2009.

Also, as that last depression ended, Grandma eloped and lived happily ever after as Papas wife as the country grew strong and rich again. In this one, its me. I truly hope that following in that path, I have many happily ever after years to look forward to with David as we enjoy the fruits of the country growing back again.
