From this hike I learned to hate Alder bushes - they were dense and it was a hard hike but it was gorgeous views when we reached the top of Thunder Ridge

One step at a time...I learned to compartmentalize time on some difficult hikes in Utah, plodding forward a bit at a time. Gorgeous views are certainly a fabulous reward!
