Double page spread continued from page 20 - through Texas.

"...50 miles of dirt roads with dips every little ways...saw lots of cactus along the road today. The country was very flat and desolate until we reached Kent, Tex. And after that it was mountainous but without trees...after leaving the mountains we dropped down into the Rio Grande valley and here we saw many cotton plantations. They have an irrigation system and flood the fields by sections...We saw many adobe houses. Some are all tumbled down with dozens of kids playing in the yard...We are camped 6 miles from the border of New Mexico. Total driving hours 11-45 min."

Clipping the paper to the photo masks and matching the cluster makes for such beautiful support of your photos.
