Journaling reads: You had a volleyball tournament this weekend, April 13, 12, 2025 at the National Volleyball Center in Rochester. It was the Med City Volleyball Tournament. I don’t know how many teams were there, but there were a LOT some from north of the Twin Cities and some from as far south as Iowa. There were games going on all eleven courts of the volleyball center plus the 3 that are attached in Century High School. I’m so glad we only live 18 miles away because some of those teams had to drive over 2 hours to get there and spend 2 nights in a hotel. Your first game was at 8 am. Now, sometimes those 8 AM games look like y’all haven’t quite woken up yet, but holey moley girlfriend, that was definitely NOT the case this morning as y’all came out like your hair was on fire and beat the first team in 2 straight games. Your next match-up wasn’t until 10 and second verse was same as the first you took them down in 2 games. Third game was at 11. Grandpa and I headed back to Pine Island then because your brother had a baseball game at noon, the car was running on fumes, and we needed gas to make it. He had a great game too and they won by a landslide. I was so jazzed when your mom let me know later that your team had beaten the team at noon and 3 more teams that afternoon. You were undefeated on the first day of the tournament. Woo hoo!
