Hi everyone and welcome to the Sketch Challenge for February!

For this challenge, I created this sketch below and I want you to use this as inspiration for your layout. Your layout does not have to look exactly like this sketch, but I should be able to see how the sketch influenced your layout. It can be artsy, traditional, clean & simple or art journaling. Whichever way your creativity takes you, is completely fine.....just as long as I can see/tell that this sketch influenced your layout.

SKETCH.JPG

Here is my page and as you can see, I didn't follow the sketch exactly. I used portions of it to influence the design of my layout. For the horizontal band, I used a photo mask and blended my photo. For the big circle, I used the camera lens. I chose to not really use the smaller circles as I couldn't get them to quite work with my flow, so I improvised a little and added the blended word art and cluster to the left of my lens. I took my word art outside of the circle completely and layered it over my blended photo.

Pretty sure it's OK to flip the sketch horizontally, right? I wasn't sure my normal book journaling was OK so I posted the page before I added it.

Oh wow - I still have the word "sketch" engrained in my brain. Half the time, I call a "template" a "sketch". BWAHAHA
