Welcome to the November Storybook/Fantasy Challenge

I am Esther and I will be your hostess for this challenge. For this challenge we are going to create our own storybook/fantasy layout. You can choose to go full on fantasy or you can create your own storybook type of layout. When you approach this challenge, think of the type of storybooks your like or your scrapbooking style and let the guide your layout. Remember, storybook can be stick figures and fantasy can be flying pigs. This challenge is a blank canvas to let your creativity flow. The only requirement that I have for this challenge is to let Autumn or Winter influence the layout. It doesn't have to be obvious Autumn or Winter theme, but these seasons must influence your design. Keep in mind that influence doesn't mean it has to be an Autumn or Winter them specifically. An example for for Autumn influence could be using a squirrel. A scarf could be used for Autumn or Winter. When you post your layout in the thread, please include a comment indicating what influenced your layout (see below for my layout as an example).

I love vintage winter layouts, so here is my layout

I used the following designs for my layout:
Winter Past Kit by Lynne Anzelc

Greeting Cards Papers 1 by Regina Falango

Winter Woodland Kit by On a Whimsical Adventure

I told you all I'd be back. Slowly adjusting to being a working wife/mom again. So while it may take me a minute to respond, please know that I'm popping in and seeing all these fabulous layouts and they all deserve so much love so I didn't want to short change any of you!!!!

Thank you for the challenge Esther

Your vintage winter layout is simply stunning!

Thanks for the Challenge!!
I was influenced by this line from the Bob Dylan song.
Your layout is gorgeous and like any true storybook, it has a lesson that at times we need to be reminded of. Thank you!!! xoxoxo
Oh your winter wonderland fantasy is just perfection. When I imagine a winter wonderland... this is what I see in my imagination.
The gallery looks amazing! My page is more of a whimsical interpretation but I had a lot of fun putting it together. Thanks for the challenge!

Oh your whimsical approach is so fantastic. I love to see things switched up a bit and you nailed it! I agree that this would make the perfect Christmas card.
Lorie Davison is my go-to designer for all of my fantasy layout needs. Here's my page:
Your layout is swoon worthy.... you have me wanting to go to the Nutcracker again....except my family keeps on vetoing me. Gorgeous layout my friend!
What a wonderful challenge, Esther! I love your inspiration page and all of the pages, so far. I'll be back with a page.
Thank you my friend! Can't wait to see what you conjure up!
Here is my page. I love winter and Christmas so I chose Santa with his friends in the forest.

Ahhhh, I love this perspective. I feel you have depicted Santa in a more humanistic light and I LOVE it!
Such a gorgeous magical storybook take on the challenge. Executed beautifully and that little bear....he stole my heart!
I love fairy tales! A Magical Snow Day.
Your magical snow day is gorgeous. I love the harmony with fun and nature!
My inspiration is Autumn
I love your autumn fantasy.... it makes me think of Alice in Wonderland. An amazing layout.
Well, that was fun! I'm not good at fantasy, lol!
I was inspired by this poem that I received in my October newsletter from Old Farmer's Almanac which always includes a seasonal/monthly poem. Thanks for the challenge!
Oh but you nailed it my friend. You reminded us that all magical creatures need their down time and playful time. Love it!
I usually go with birds for these, so...

You did such an amazing job. It has a Game of Thrones vibe and I LOVE it..... if you can't tell, I'm a Game of Thrones fan
Thanks for the challenge.

Oh my.... I love your winter whimsical fantasy vibe. Yes, let's explore!
Thank you very much for this Challenge!
My page
Such a gorgeous winter vintage layout and I'm in LOVE
Here is my page. I was inspired by a landscape photo I saw on Pixabay that I wanted to use.

It is such a gorgeous layout. That photo was well worth the inspiration.
Thank you for the challenge, Esther :D I was inspired by Autumn so I made a little Autumn faery scene.
Water (beach) and fall colors... you might just speaking my love language. Gorgeous layout and wonderful take on the challenge.

Thank you for the inspiration. Here is my entry... There is a mini-story in the description in the gallery about the what and why... But in a nutshell, I miss traveling and seeing the world and it's wonders... it seems planning ahead and going anywhere these days is the most unrealistic fantasy of all... We couldn't travel this summer because we were downwith COVID so we are travelling now - in November... and being at the airport, going through passport controls, filling covid forms makes me miss hassle free travel even more... so I guess my layout was inspired by actully being in autumn and feeling nostalgic about the life we used to have - including the times when I used to have autumns... and travelling...

I had seen a Halloween bar scene the day Lynn's new kit came out and it inspired me to try getting her characters bellied up to the bar. They didn't all get drinks, mostly because I don't drink. ;)
My pages were influenced it being autumn right now and winter is coming, and I didn't understand I needed to choose one. Clearly Santa is a winter personality, and the characters are dressed for either autumn or winter and talking about believing in Christmas I thought. I think it fits the challenge and actually bridges the two seasons. I still can't find where I have to choose which season, just one or the other, and my scene is definitely ambiguous.

My layout isn't quite as wintery as these! It is early autumn in my fairy garden though. I was inspired by sipping hot tea among early autumn flowers.
