The Challenge

Got a retro or retro inspired photo, object, collection, hobby or activity you've been wanting to scrap forever
OR do you have modern photos you would love to give the retro treatment?

All you need to do for this challenge is to use the Estate Sale Collection: Painted Shapes (Vol 1) Freebie
pack or any other products from my shoppe to create a retro inspired card, layout, series of layouts or any
other project.

Then post your masterpiece(s) in my gallery here by midnight EST on Saturday April 30, 2016.

The Prizes

Everyone who participates in this challenge will receive a gift coupon for $3 to my shoppe (one coupon per
customer).

I am also giving away a $15 coupon to my shoppe to one lucky participant in a random draw at the end of
this challenge!

Here are the two newest/revised layouts for my Las Vegas album. I wanted to add a little more colour to the album overall, so I'm adding some retro papers and painted shapes to some of the pages. After the scrapping is finished, I'll be revising even more pages by adding some journaling. :)

I found this gorgeous layout in my gallery this morning by Cindy/scribler that she made for April's AAM challenge (link to this challenge here). I LOVE how she made her modern photo really stand out with vintage elements and papers (plus Vicki's Tattered and Torn page curls are absolutely genius).

I hope you don't mind me showing off your inspiring layout, Cindy! :)

Another thing about retro photos , at least in our family, was many in black and white. Fun Challenge. Here's mine:

I loved reading your article about retro photos...I have some I must dig up. Meanwhile, I wanted to create a retro-looking photo album cover for my 2016 journal.
Although the photo was already vintage, it was in color, so I desaturated and used an overlay from the VAC Necessities kit, as well as the paper, word art, etc.
